PROGRAM – TRANSPORT – ACCOMMODATION – SKILL REQUIREMENTS
PROGRAM
Travelling around the region will take place by private vehicle. Pick up in the morning at your Hotel/Farmhouse, and return after sunset. We will spend all day round photographing together the locations chosen. If we include the sunrise, we’ll have two shooting sessions (at dawn and in the afternoon until sunset/dusk). For lunch (and dinner) we’ll discover the best dishes of Tuscany and Italy.
Our itineraries and timetables are flexible, according to the weather forecasts.
All details about the program will be provided to the participants after the booking.
Tuscany Photo Tours is based out of Torrita di Siena/Montepulciano, Siena province – Italy. It is a strategic gateway in the middle of our destinations, close to Val d’Orcia (Unesco Heritage). Tuscany photo day vacation.
ARRIVAL PICK UP
Pick up and drop off at Arezzo or Chiusi/Chianciano or Terontola-Cortona train station (For Pick up and drop off from/to Rome or Florence there will be an extra charge). Then we’ll transfer to the Hotel/Farmhouse. There are a lot of trains to Arezzo or Chiusi from any major Italian cities. Arezzo is 30 minutes from Florence, 2 hours from Rome, 3 hours from Milan or Venice. You will have our support to buy airfare and train tickets.
If you arrive by car, we’ll meet directly at your Hotel/Farmhouse.
ACCOMMODATION
It’s preferable that it’s located around Torrita di Siena and Sinalunga.
You can also choose your accommodation between the following traditional Farmhouse and Villa that we recommend. Send us an email with your preference and we’ll contact them for you about discounts, details, etc.…
They have a panoramic view, fireplace, swimming pool, typical foods, and good wine…everything for a fantastic stay.
They have double rooms and apartments (the possibility of having a single room), with private bathrooms. The apartments have available for guests well-equipped kitchens.
The price depends on the season, approximately is € 100-160 per night, per two people.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Tours for photographers of all skill levels. Beginners photographers will work on photography techniques and the development of sensibility and personality to tell by photography. We’ll study elements of visual perception such as composition, color, black and white, and spatial configuration. Advanced photographers will be encouraged to build a stunning portfolio with a coherent style to submit to galleries, publishers, and contests.
WHAT TO BRING
An ASLR or mirrorless camera or iPhone.
Lens from 28mm to 135mm or more.
Tripod, but you can also use one of mine.
Comfortable shoes, a windproof jacket, and a bottle of water are recommended.
