Tuscany photography landscape workshop – Welcome to the exciting photography workshop in the magic Tuscany. Our photography journey will be more than a holiday, it is a great opportunity to explore and capture the most fascinating parts of Tuscany from sunrise to sunset and Dusk (rolling green hills and vineyards, ancient cathedrals and picturesque churches, thermal baths and bucolic fields, medieval hilltop villages and farmhouses with cypresses, fabulous castles and villas). It is a life-changing experience to discover the breathtaking beauty and secrets of this enchanted land. At the Tuscany photography workshop, you will be immersed at a relaxed pace in nature and in the typical Tuscan lifestyle, between authentic food and special wines. All led by Marco Bulgarelli, an award-winning photographer native to this land.

Our goal is to capture the soul of Tuscany following an alternative way of fascinating hidden places, known only by locals, or simply showing famous locations from another angle, seeking a different way to show this fantastic land. We’ll always be in the right spot at the right time of day.
Marco will share his over 20 years experience helping participants improve their photography skills and build a stunning portfolio of landscape.

PROGRAM
Tuscany photography landscape workshop – Our itineraries and timetables are flexible, according to the weather forecasts.
– All the details about the program will be provided to the participants after the booking.
I will pick you up in Rome or at the Arezzo or Terontola-Cortona train Station in the morning, then we’ll move to our nice farmhouse in Torrita di Siena (It is a strategic gateway in the middle of our destinations), close to Val d’Orcia (Unesco Heritage) – If you arrive by car, we’ll meet directly at the Farmhouse. After the check-in and lunch in the farmhouse, we’ll visit Montepulciano and the surroundings for a shooting session in the afternoon, at sunset, dusk, and night. Dinner in Montepulciano. In the next four days, we’ll follow these itineraries. I’ll pick you up and drop you off at the Farmhouse, we’ll photograph together from late morning until sunset or we’ll have two shooting sessions (at dawn and in the afternoon until sunset/dusk) in the best locations of Tuscany, in the Siena Province. We will also have one or two class sessions. For lunch and dinner, we’ll discover all the best dishes of Tuscany and Italy.
On the sixth day, we go back to Rome or Arezzo or Terontola-Cortona train stations.
Traveling around the region will take place by private vehicle. There will be short walking distances.

WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE
Tuscany photography landscape workshop – The goal of the photography workshop is to build a stunning portfolio, provide both theoretical and practical knowledge and improve visual skills of the participants.
First of all, we’ll deal with the topics related to visual perception such as: composition, color, black and white, spatial configuration. We will also analyze the many aspects that determine the choice of the pictures and we’ll study the image processing. The participants will learn how to develop their own style.
The pictures taken will be revised on – screen sessions – submitting images directly from your media card on the Bulgarelli’s Mac. We’ll learn images editing focusing on the aspects of visual art and communication. We aim to build a stunning portfolio with a coherent style by the end of the workshop.
The photographic workshop is addressed for beginners and advanced photographers. Marco will follow individual needs, so the participants can shoot at their own speed. Because the workshop is both theoretical and practical based, there is plenty of time to get out and practice the new techniques and ask questions.

Native from this magic land, Marco Bulgarelli is an Award-Winning Photographer recognized as one of the leading publisher photographer. Marco Bulgarelli is an eclectic photographer with long experience in Landscape, Fine Art and Travel Photography. Since 2007 he has been collaborating with National Geographic Italy. Furthermore, he has a great passion and enthusiasm for teaching. He works in schools and associations all around Italy. WHAT TO BRING
- An ASLR or mirrorless camera.
- Lens from 28mm to 135mm or more.
- Tripod, but you can also use one of mine.
- Comfortable shoes, Windproof jacket and a bottle of water are recommended.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A deposit of 150€ is due at the moment of the reservation. This is required to ensure your place. 750€ is due 30 days before the tour starts and the final balance payment (700€) is due on arrival.
THE WORKSHOP WILL BE CONFIRMED UPON REACHING THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF 2 PARTICIPANTS.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel within 90 days before the workshop, you will be refunded the deposit.
No refund will be issued for cancellations received with 90 days or less remaining before the workshop starting date. No partial refunds will be given for unused portions of the workshop. If you decide to cancel, you have to send us an email notification. Please note that your cancellation is not considered official until you have received a return email confirmation acknowledging your cancellation.
You can reschedule the workshop without additional costs.
If the workshop is canceled by the organizers, we will refund you.
